A businessman arranging sales of luxury goods has made deals with top football players including Manchester United player Antony.
Newark-based businessman Riccardo Leighton has been providing luxury cars to world class footballers and celebrities for over seven years, and three months ago branched out on his own.
He is in the process of registering his company Ultra Vita, and has recently arranged the sale of a £337k Lamborghini Aventador for Manchester United’s Antony — who recently took to the pitch as part of Brazil’s World Cup squad.

Riccardo said: “Utra Vita means ultra life in Italian, I am half Italian which is the connection there.
“I’ve made deals with five or six players in the current England squad — you can just go down the league picking players out.
“Now I’ve gone independent, my latest big deal was with Antony.

“A lot of it is by word of mouth, players pass my number on, or agents call up to tell me a client needs a car for a budget or a specific car — and I will find the car for them.”
Riccardo previously worked at a Nottingham-based luxury car business — where he sourced and delivered for celebrities and footballers, but has now taken the chance to become his own boss.
“I like to play golf, and play in the middle of the day before coming back to my work,” Riccardo added.

“I have the freedom to do what I want, and all the deals, the clients, it’s on me. I have more responsibility.
“I do everything from Newark, I don’t even have to leave the house now unless I have to meet with a client. I work with logistics companies that will deliver the cars.”

As well as luxury Ferraris and Lamborghinis, Riccardo arranges sales of everyday cars, from Ford Focuses to Volkswagen Polos.
He has also branched out into luxury watches, including Rolex pieces.
