Make a plan to get Covid-19 assistance and use the money to buy luxury cars

A man was arrested in the United States on Friday for tax fraud. Mustafa Qadri is accused of using the money from the payment protection program to help companies struggling to buy luxury cars during the Covid-19 pandemic.

According to authorities, the California-based man received around $ 5 million, more than 4.1 million euros, to help four non-operating companies after borrowing from three different banks.

Kadiri, 38, is accused of altering company information and using someone else’s name, social security number, and signature. You need to respond to bank fraud, cyber fraud, exacerbated identity theft, and money laundering.

The man bought a Ferrari, Lamborghini and Bentley through loans and also took the opportunity to enjoy a luxury vacation.

It should be noted that this is not the first case of tax fraud related to the assistance due to Covid-19 in the United States, with two other cases similar to those of al-Qadri already known.
