Amid rubbish piling high on our streets, Scottish businesses facing closure because of soaring electricity bills and higher business rates, and households grappling with the cost of living crisis, you’ll be pleased to hear that Nicola Sturgeon is busy — in between appearances on the Fringe and flying visits to Denmark — splashing taxpayer’s cash on a scheme to develop a “Feminist Approach to Foreign Policy for Scotland”.

I kid you not.

I don’t recall this particular policy in the SNP election manifesto, but if you’re interested it’s worth £19,000, and all you have to do is organize a few workshops to help the SNP decide what a feminist foreign policy should look like.
