At the 75th Annual Tony Awards, the casts of nominated musicals took the stage, with two-time Tony Award winners Hugh Jackman other Sutton Foster leading The Music Man cast in a joyful, bright performance. The cast performed the song “Seventy-Six Trombones” in front of the audience attending the Tony Awards ceremony at Radio City Music Hall in New York City.

The young members of The Music Man’s cast might’ve stolen the show as the members of the band, flipping and dancing across the stage and through the audience, though Jackman and Sutton stunned with their singing and tap dancing as they performed the classic musical number .

Alongside The Music Man cast, the 75th Annual Tony Awards host Ariana Debose opened the show with a medley performance honoring past musicals like cabaret, pensionand Chicago.
The casts of other nominated musicals A Strange Loop, Company, Girl from the North Country, MJ, Mr Saturday Night, SIXand Paradise Square also gave wonderful performances throughout the show, while the 2006 Spring Awakening cast reunited on stage as well.

The return to Broadway of The Music Man began with preview shows in December 2021, opening to public audiences in early February. Alongside Jackman and Foster, the cast includes Remy Auberjonois other Shuler Hensleyas well as Gino Cosculluela other Emma Crow in their Broadway debuts. The musical originally debuted on Broadway in 1957, with the book, music, and lyrics by Meredith Willson.
