We all have fond memories of KLAQ’s Downtown StreetFest that make us smile when we look back on previous concerts. Looking back, I can’t help but laugh when I think back on past StreetFests. I’ve been attending StreetFest since 2005 and enjoyed every single show.
Every year friends of mine knew that I would get a hotel room in the former Camino Real, now the Hotel Paso Del Norte, for the StreetFest. It would be the space before, during and after for drinks, snacks and cooling off. My friends and I did some pretty silly things, the way Brad Paisley sings on his “Alcohol” song.
One of us had the lampshade over one of our heads that you can hear in the song at 2:28 below.

KLAQ’s StreetFest was always great fun with family or friends. You will even see it in the evidence listed below. There were a lot of bands that made StreetFest memorable and we had to relive those times.
