The International Mobility Exhibition in September, which will take place in Munich for the first time, will be the first major automobile exhibition in Europe since the outbreak of the pandemic, so we await our long-awaited first look at some important new models.
Mercedes-Benz will dominate the action with no less than five high profile debuts, but other European manufacturers will hit the market.
The International Mobility Exhibition takes place parallel to the Munich Motor Show, where more than 1000 exhibitors and speakers present innovations and concepts for the mobility of the future. Over 100 technologies are expected to be world premiered, new developments in mobility as well as the path to a climate-neutral future and advances in digitization are presented.
“The IAA Mobility 2021 in Munich will be the largest and most modern mobility event in the world and fits perfectly into a time when Europe is on its way to becoming the world’s first climate-neutral continent. Traffic plays a major role in this scenario. ”, Said Jürgen Mindel, General Manager of the Association of the Automotive Industry (VDA), organizer of the IAA Mobility.
“We are already uniting the sectors – automotive, digital, bicycle and urban planning – that will belong together in the future. We will present new concepts and invite visitors to discuss the right path to a climate-neutral future, ”said Mindel.

ACM City One
The ACM City One will be a miniature electric car built in Germany that will be sold en masse at a low price. The start-up recently partnered with Magna International, a global parts maker, to develop the model. The company has been developing the City One for eight years and says the car will have a replaceable battery and space for up to five people.
With an expected price of € 10,000 to € 15,000 (8562 to 12,843), it will be sold primarily to the fleet sector, including taxi and leasing companies in Asia and Africa. The City One can also be used as a small commercial vehicle and has a load space of up to 1450 liters with enough space for spare batteries. The company’s damage documents were signed for the sale of 208,000 cars with a total sales value of over 3 billion euros.
