Live music is back with a bang at a popular venue in FarGo Village.
The Box experienced its relaunch this week with a gig by Self Esteem.
The artist, whose hit single ‘I Do This All The Time’ made the playlists on BBC Radio One and 6 Music and was the subject of a much-discussed performance on Later … With Jools Holland, took the stage on Thursday July 26th.

Self Esteem is an experimental pop project by Rebecca Lucy Taylor (formerly Slow Club).
Details on a highly anticipated second album, Prioritise Pleasure, were announced last week along with the release of its second single and title track.
Support came from talented Coventry artists, alt-rock singer-songwriter Ace Ambrose and the experimental pop act Paradise of the Titans.
There was also a DJ set from Block Radio presenters Ellie Ball (Mixed Signals) and Erin Brown (Drink Your Milk).
Emmy the Great, aka Emma-Lee Moss
The next big name already announced at the venue is Emmy the Great, who will perform at The Box on Friday September 17th, but other in-between events will be announced next week.
Emmy the Great, aka Emma-Lee Moss, will be putting on a show of favorite songs from her 15-year career in the record industry.
Emma-Lee is a London based singer-songwriter, composer and journalist who has released four albums since 2009.
As a composer, she has written for television, film, radio and stage.
Moss was born in Hong Kong to a Chinese mother and an English father and grew up in the UK. She sings in English, Mandarin and Cantonese.
Tickets for its September performance are on sale now and cost £ 15 plus a £ 1.50 advance booking fee.

The Box is a flexible, multi-purpose venue with 420 square meters of floor space that supports a full sound system and stage.
The space can accommodate up to 500 spectators and is used regularly for family events, fashion shows, art exhibitions, live music, corporate events, and weddings.
The building was previously used as a carpet storage facility and has been modified with state-of-the-art technology and acoustic treatments by Complex Development Projects, based in Coventry.
