La Vida Hospitality recently donated $15,000 to the Harry K Foundation as a matching donation from the proceeds of sales made at its Ho Ho Ho Hospitality Tent in Schellville during the Christmas season.
La Vida’s Hospitality Tent provided a warm place for Schellville visitors to cozy up with a variety of holiday beverages while enjoying all the venue’s attractions.
Schellville, an Enchanted Winter Celebration created by Schell Brothers in Rehoboth Beach, attracted visitors from all over the state. It offered free admission and dozens of amazing holiday attractions including a winter village, roller skating, train rides and an artisans’ alley. In 2021, Schellville welcomed more than 100,000 visitors and raised a total of $84,600 for the Harry K Foundation.
“It was so great to be a part of this event. The Harry K Foundation is such a great cause that benefits the children in our local communities,” said Rich Garrahan, managing member of La Vida Hospitality. “Our Be Involved initiative is something we are always striving to grow. Our team is dedicated to providing support to our communities through organizations such as this one.”
The Harry K Foundation, created by Harry Keswani, aims to alleviate childhood hunger in Delaware communities. Headquartered in Rehoboth Beach, La Vida Hospitality’s business portfolio includes Crooked Hammock Brewery, Big Chill Beach Club, Big Chill Surf Cantina and Taco Reho.
