This truly unlimited Jeep Wrangler has four doors and more

The Jeep Wrangler became popular because of its agile off-road capabilities. With a short wheelbase and impressive approach / departure / tilt angles, there are few places it can’t go.

Then came the Wrangler Unlimited four-door model, which was more spacious inside but wasn’t quite as manoeuvrable in difficult terrain. Now we have that stretched-out-yet-wider version, and if you’ve ever wondered what a three-row Wrangler would look like, you’ve come to the right place.

Most importantly, this one of a kind Wrangler can currently bid on Cars & Bids. With five days left to bid (bidding ends June 8th), this very yellow former two-door 2006 Wrangler has $ 7,500 in its name at the time of writing.

We’d bet buyers of this bespoke jeep won’t drive this off-road as its sedan-like shape guarantees 4.5-foot wheelbase extension, which isn’t great for negotiating hills and inclines. The aftermarket work was carried out by Illusion Coach Builders LLC in Rogersville, Missouri, in 2006. In addition to the stretched underframe, there is also an additional row for two people and two half-doors – a perfect complement to the black hood. Other parts of the build are from the factory, including the 16-inch wheels, full front doors, coil springs, and air conditioning.

As for the power plant, nothing has changed from the original TJ model. Under the hood is a 4.0-liter in-line six-cylinder mill that delivers 190 horsepower (142 kilowatts) and 235 pound-feet (319 newton meters) of torque, which is sent to all four wheels via a 4-speed automatic transmission.

Regarding the defects, the seller said there were external chipping, dents and scratches, as well as peeling paint or cracks in several areas. The fog lights have already started to yellow while the taillight on the driver’s side has a crack. Rusting has already started in some places, and a putty-like substance has formed around the ventilation pipe on the valve corner.
